In addition there is a Toslink connection for the ADA8000 (or ADA8200) that supplies a further eight lines of digital connection from the ADA8000 which accepts eight analog lines over XLR/TRS inputs. The front four are marked Mic/Instrument with levels adjustment next to them, the rear four Line Level only. The FCA accepts 4 analog inputs on the front and four to the rear. In addition there seems to be a lot of confusion over the audio I/O ports. I know early adopters especially on Macs had problems but these seem to have been ironed out with better firmware/drivers. I'm leaving an M-Audio setup as there seems to be no future for my present kit with either drivers or hardware in Windows 8 (see you on E-Bay in due course).

There is nothing else unusual about the setup except I want to experiment with MIDI over LAN and a second/third machine/pc in due course. Yamaha S30, Casio XW-P1, Akai miniAK, Korg microKorg XL+, Korg Triton Rack, Novation A Station, E-MU Proteus 2000 & Virtuoso 2000, Zoom RT-323 & 223.

I use a self made PC, AMD FX-8359 32Gb Ram, 3 x 1TB HDD, DVD, 2 x 23' Monitors on Win7 圆4 SP1, 8x8 to USB2.0 MIDI and direct USB2.0 connections. This is in conjuction with the Instrument & FX VST's in FL Studio.

I intend to use them linked to 8 hardware synths & drum modules (MIDI input & MIDI over USB) in addition a couple of rack mounted FX boxes (the Behringer has 8 inserts for such). I'm undergoing a major studio overhaul and I'm intending to use these pair as my main audio interface.

Has anyone had experience with the Behringer FCA1616 Audio Interface & MIDI I/F coupled to the Behringer ADA800 ADAT interface on PC with all the firmware & drivers updated.
